there's hidden crevices, sheer cliffs

Creeak
The door shuts.
A mist closes over you
hanging over you
like dark clouds

The atmosphere
imprinted on the house
Fear rakes through you
like a thousand knives
a long suffering moan
like a tired old man
the mist makes faces
Looking...... Pleading

A sorrow
creeps through you
followed by terror
then pain
like ice in your heart
the past is reaching out to you
you're falling into a sorrow
A sorrow for
those past fears, hopelessness
you crumple breathing deeply
then you feel a hopeful glow
It comes over the house
the faces disappear with smiles
A happy sigh follows them
